Does anyone out there have any ancient Needlewoman magazines?  Around 1934 there were a series of four screen panels, based on Solomon's Song of Songs.  I have three completed panels - stitched either by my late mother or myself.  I am in need of the stitching instructions for the last panel.  I have everything else that I need but not the instructions and if anyone can help me I would be delighted - it would be lovely to complete the screen which my mother started so many years ago.

Hello Grace

Thanks to all the help and suggestions I got, I have now managed to complete the top and centre sections of the last panel in my Song of Songs screen.   Without Rachel's photograph and the instructions, found on eBay no less, (who'd have guessed that they would have it!), I can now do a good job and keep the design authentic.  Some of the colours in the tree are somewhat unlikely! but that's the 1930's for you.

Margaret
