So I decided today to knit my Mum a new tea cozy for this Mother’s Day this coming Sunday. I ring Dad and tell him what I am going to do and ask him to measure the teapot . So he tells me the measurements as he measures it…. THEN I hear my Mum’s voice in the background!!…..
So I say: “Dad, is Mum home?”
Dad: “Yes.”
Me: “Why are you measuring the pot in front of her?”
Dad” “It does not matter.”
Me: “I wanted to surprise her with it.”
Dad: “It’s only a tea cozy.”
Me: I shake my head and thank him for measuring it and hang up.
Now is this man a spoilsport or what!?!?!?!

I was thinking that Margaret but I hear not all men are like that... you and I just have not meet them in person yet.
Janet, this made me laugh. He just wasn't that engaged in the process, I'm guessing!

Barbara:)
Barbara I made her those as part of her Christmas present. But I finished the cozy today so I still have time to make something quick. Maybe a bookmark.
