Looking for a special glue?

I want to experiment with and idea, but I need a glue which will adhere fabric to metal.   It will not have to support weight as the embroidery/fabric will cover a small area.  It is, however, important to have a glue that does not stain the fabric.

Has anyone had experience with these materials?

Hi Barbara, I see that you have actually found a glue now but I thought that I would mention Guterman Textile Glue HT2 that comes highly recommended here

On a slightly different note, I have been looking for a compact mirror that I can put an embroidery into.  Would you mind telling me where you got yours from.

Thanks for the info., Carol-Anne.  The compact was a happenstance and it was in one of those bargain shops but the front panel was cheap plastic , luckily it peeled off with careful handling. 

Perhaps you could hunt out some of those' home and bargain', type of shops, too?
