There sure is! Look down on the right hand sidebar of this very page and you'll see the option to get the badge right there. Click on it and, off you go!=)
Hello Sailaja,
Did you manage to put the badge on your blog?
Best wishe,
jane c
my blog is www.quilterscottagenorfolk.blogspot.com
So, I've done the 'get badge' thing, and pasted my blog address in the space. I don't get any further than this. I know I don't speak computer, so would be grateful for any further 'prompts'. I am on Blogger.com
The code for the badge from stitchin fingers is found if on your "my page" you go to 'get badge'
The size of the badge is for skinny or fat sidebars (different blog types again) - you select that and the colours you like and then at the bottom copy all the code - not all of it all the brackets etc in the embed code section .

You then need to paste that into the place where your blog tells you too.

You need to put this in your side bar on your blog -

Different blog software have different set ups. Blogger is different from wordpress for instance. Typepad is different again and I use Squarespace so I was looking to see what sort of blog you had.

So is there someone on blogger who can explain where the code goes?
Thank you Sharon. I could add it and I am proud to be a member of such a beautiful and talented group

I can't get it to work on my Wordpress.com site

I have some detailed instructions saved somewhere onm,y computer will look them out and post them to this page but it might  not be till tomorrow  7.30pm here now.

Sorry Julie you are with Wordpress I am with blogger so do not have instructions for that, fingers crossed somone can help you, I have a couple of friends on wordpress will check their blogs to see if they have the SF badge on.

Thanks Margaret.  I have tried following the directions found here and they just don't work.

Julie I just tested this on a wordpress.com blog but you are right it does not work as Wordpress does not support swf files and the badge is that. Ning used to provide an alternative embed code but it no longer does. So wordpress.com will no longer support the badge sorry.

I will ook into it further and see if there is another way but at the moment I am stumped

I did create a widget that says Join an international community of fiber artists with a link to stitchin fingers.  It just doesn't look as nice as the official badge.  Just want to be "one of the group!"

never mind Julie just because you do not share our widget badge it does not mean you are not "one of the group"

we still count you in as one of us!
