meet new friends to learn more about any type of vintage and silk ribbon embroidery. I have never done any silk ribbon but have a current back ground in mixed media art.
I enjoy all things in life, painting, mixing colors, mixed media, folk doll art, clay sculpting, planting exoctic tropical flowers, sun, lavendar, bubble gum,
music, piano, auto harp, singing, traveling, walking, laughing and loving.
I ought not end here as I know I could go on and on.
I must tell you, I am a deep believer in God and am a Christian, married, mother, wife, Nana of four, friend and blogger to many.
My creative life has been rewarding and always surprises me with something I never know where the finished product came from but my spirit.
I formerly was a doll teacher to proffesionals. Now I am starting my journey in unchartered waters... looking forward to meeting each one of you.

Permalink Reply by Elaine Wilding on May 4, 2012 at 8:12 Hi Darlene Glad to meet you. Stitching Fingers is a great place to meet new friends. Everyone has so much in common and everyone is so supportive here. Lots of new things to learn. I love mixed media as well. But I am a hand stitcher at heart. I love doing ribbon embroidery and there is a ribbon embroidery group here on stitching Fingers. I am going to check out your blog. I too have been thinking of doing a blog but still have alot on my plate now. There is also a Doll Artistry Club that my friend Kat runs. She is in the cloth doll club check that out also. I hope you love it here as much as I do . Hugs Elaine
