First of all, thanks for being such a supportive and friendly group. I live on a small farm in Tunisia: it's a quiet life so I'm pleased to be able to meet other artists and crafters. I began blogging not too long ago at: http://multicoloredpieces.blogspot.com

Won't you visit me there? Besides appliqué and art quilts, I do mosaicking, recycling of "stuff" and gardening/farming. Trying to keep the planet sustainable.

Hi Nadia - I just spent the most interesting half hour at your blog.  It's totally fascinating! Your wall hangings and macrame hanging lamp are wonderful and it is so much fun to see your renovations!  Learning about the Hammam was great!

cheers, Di

Thanks for stopping by my blog, Di. So pleased to meet you!

best, nadia

You have a beautiful home.  It looks very much like a stitching retreat.  I lived in Japan for 5 years and know what a "shared" bath is like.  We lived in the northern part where the cold made you very glad of this "steam" room.  I got over my qualms about bathing in a public place (men and women are seperated there also) and enjoyed the hot soaks and the intense clean feeling.

Hi Nadia

Thank you for your kind words on my blog...you have a very lovely home...I love the colours.

Your work is beautiful, please show us so more. Cheers Joan ((*_*))

Hello Nadia, I also have just returned from visiting your blog, and found it just so fascinating.  What you have done with the renovation of your home is amazing.  Your sense of colour and design are wonderful.  You make your town sound like just the place one would like to visit.  I am looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful work.
