Getting started
Hi , I am new to this group and am looking to start a stitch book or crazy square book of some sort. I am having trouble getting started. For example what would be a good size for a finished square ?

Welcome Hope, sorry I cannot help you but I like you I am interested in a book so look forward to what people have to say. You will definately get plenty of advice this site is great for help and learning new things and making friends

It is really personal choice but I have found blocks between 6 to 8 inches square are good they are bug enough to learn on and do something yet not so big they take for ever and day to complete.

Yes i would suggest a smallish size to get started on, then just jump in!!
