early cross stitch

Hello everyone,

 

Sometimes I get nostalgic and look at my early work. This is a coffee table cover done after my own design when I was 15.I used silk for the flowers and leaves and for many years we had this on our coffee table back home in Bucharest, Romania.

 

here are a few pics.

 

 

 

 

And this is a purse I made also from my own design of red carnations also in silk. I used to wear this as a teenager and i still have in good condition. has a zipper and silk lining.

 

 

I worked for a whole summer when  was 16 to finish this purse.

Thank you Terry. Actually I do art, dolls but not cross stitch anymore.
