Permalink Reply by Margaret on June 6, 2012 at 4:53 had a go last night Elaine but made a mess of it, I am seeing a very good crocheter this pm, sent her your pattern yesterday and she has emailed that she has done it and will try and instruct me when I see her later today, hope she has lots of patience!!

Work treble(tr) instead of dc and work double treble(dtr) instead of tr in Elaine's Instructions. All the other terms like ch,picot,sl.st are the same in both UK and American terms.Hope this helps...

Permalink Reply by Margaret on June 7, 2012 at 1:55 Took the pattern to a monthly group at the library Elaine, we were doing dorset buttons and suffolk puffs but quite a few people copied the pattern so there will be endless butterflies in Leeds in the next few days. Have managed to make one myself thanks

thanks Anita, did as you said and was successful but a friend did it without altering the dc to tr etc, she did not bother to read about it being a pettern form America, a crocheting genius just produced it instantly, it just came out smaller, I am only a very basic crocheter and need to use a big hook and wool, maybe one day I will be able to be delicate!!Anita said:
