Perle cotton no 3 e hook. Head ch3, 12 dc in 3rd chain from hook, join slipstitch in first dc.12dc
Neck Ch1, slipstitch in next head st, sc in next stitch, slipstitch in next stitch. don't pull these stitches tight.
Wings. 1st wing Ch 8 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc sc across the next 6 chains
Twist work and slipstitch, sc, slipstitch in 3 sts of neck.
2nd wing Ch 8 sc in 2nd st from hook, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc sc across the next 6 stitches. Twist work and 2 sc in first st sc in next st, 2 sc in last st of neck. Ch 2
Skirt Row: 2 dc in first st, dc in 3 sts. ch 2. turn 7 dc.
Row 2 2 Dc in first, dc in 5 st, 2 dc in last. ch 2 ( 9 Dc)
Row 3 : 2 dc in first st, dc in 7 sts, 2 dc in last st. ch 1 turn 111 dc.
Row 4 and Tail: 3 dc in first st; slipstitch in next st, 3 dc in next st, 3 dc in next st. Repeat once. ch 49, sc in 10 th ch from hook, to form ring. * Ch 4, 4sts, sc in next ch. repeat from * until 4 chains remains slip stitch in same st as first ch. 3 dc in next st, slipstich in next stitch repat once. 3 dc, slipstitch in last st. fastten off weave in ends.
Tassell cut 6 strands of thread about 6 inches long. fold in half and draw loop through the circle at end of tail with a crochet hook. Draw the loose ends of the strands through the loop and pull them tightly to form knot. trim ends of tassel evenly.
