Anyone going to the craft fare in OZ

Hi all is there anyone going to the Canberra Craft & Quilt Fair, August 6 - 9 at Exhibition Park? Annie Whitsed and myself will be there on the Thursday and I might go on the Saturday. Just wondering if there are any members who are going and want to meet up for lunch?

Well, if I hadn't just been to the craft and Quilt fair in Melbourne last week, I might have booked a flight to Canberra to go to your fair - just to meet up with you, Sharon! It would be great to meet other Stitchin Fingers friends, and I do hope you get a positive response to this message!

Gina - you made me laugh and I told Jerry. We decided we will have to watch the cheapie flights and come down for a visit some time as there are a few folks down that end of the world it would be great to meet. It was always on my mind that Mum was so sick, so I did not like bounding around too much, but since she is now gone it occurs to me that places like Melbourne are only an hour a way on a plane.

Nope, but I am going to the one in Hamilton over here in NZ Sharon. It is an Auzzie import, so it may be the same one. Maybe you and Annie could do a pilgrimage over here!

If anyone can get there to meet Sharon and Annie, you will have fun. I was lucky enough to have coffee with them earlier this year ....... longest coffee break I have had this year! And up there with the best.
I might be demonstrating in Adelaide so perhaps can meet a few member there.

At this stage I 'may" be going to Adelaide for the Craft Fair - its subject to confirmation however, if I do go over to work, I will make sure I let you know!

If I get there I will be 'working' in the Quilters Guild of SA exhibition demonstrating hand quilting, and will make sure to have a lengthy coffee break with you ..... or something!

I will be demonstrating on the Scrapmatts stand if I go - decision is yet to be made as to how we will tackle this show staffing wise. I tend to make ATC's while I am showcasing the product.

I have just returned from working the Canberra show and it didn't even occur to me that I might arrange to link up with people while I was there! Some days I just shouldn't get out of bed!
