Hi Lin - Will post some more pic's of my Quilting - thanks for the welcome - I have already put a couple up - the elephant was my very first prize quilt in a show - I'm very proud of this achievement - it was a wonderful experience.

I Cannot believe I missed introducing myself here! Probably because I am enjoying myself so much; viewing all the wonderfull projects on screen!
I have just finished a little needle-case(I made it as a way of practicing hand embroidery and really enjoyed it).

Finally, a delayed thank you to all you clever stitchers for sharing with us.
Happy stitching
Barbara
Hi, everyone. I'm Linda. I have loved hand embroidery since I was a teenager (Dark Ages), but for many years I haven't had much time to devote to stitching. Now that my kids are grown and (semi-)launched, I am finally finding a bit of time to return to this love.

Hand-worked free embroidery is what I love. My favorite textiles are linen and wool.

I'm very happy to have found this forum and all of you!
Hi Linda - I am also a newby andloving all this forum has to offer - still feeling my way around but enjoying all the things it has to offer.

Hello I"m Chrissy and I just wanted to say hello to everyone and that I'm looking forward to talking with you all and learning some new techinques...I crochet, scrapbook...I sometimes like to paint on to my pages, cross-stitch and I'm trying to teach myself how to knit
Hi, thought I would introduce myself and have a look around. I have been a crafter since age 7 and have indulged in many different crafts along the way. For a while I made hats, quilted, sewed, embroideried and more. At the present, paper crafts have my interest. I still do a little embroidery and bead work and incorporate it into my cards. I came across this forum while looking for information on tambour and stump embroidery. Hope I can learn something with this union!
Welcome! I don't make cards, but I do like what I saw on your website. There is a lot to learn here!
