Hi all I thought I would start this group and see if people were interested in joining. If you are here leave a message to introduce your self. Tell us what your fiber interests are too
I will also test the image function and leave some eye candy
Hi! I am Pat Winter from Indiana and want to thank you for inviting me to this group Sharon. It looks like I already see some familiar faces and can't wait to get started. I love crazy quilting, encrusting and learning new techniques of all kinds.
I'm Celeste from California. Thanks for starting this group Sharon! I'm a surface embroiderer, a bit of a jack of all trades when it come to embroidery but this year I'm really focusing on stumpwork. Thanks to Sharon's TIF challenge, I've finally started designing my own pieces.
Hi All:
My name is Marie and I am fiber addicted. I have been quilting - both traditional as well as art quilts - for 25 years or so. I also journal, knit , spin , take lots of photographs, adore making needle felted, free motion quilted bags and I have recently developed an interest in mixed media (something I never thought that I would enjoy!)- thanks to some wonderful online classes. I am particularly interested in historical textiles and vintage quilts. I collect much too much reproductions fabric! I make both traditional bed quilts (I love them!) as well as art/fiber art pieces. I am a gadget gal and love to try out any new technique or method that strikes my fancy. I am so pleased that Sharon B started this group! I am taking a journaling class from Sharon through Joggles this summer- and I can't wait to jazz up my daily ramblings a bit!
Hi All, I just joined and am trying to figure out how things work here. Thanks to Candi for inviting me and to Sharon for creating the list. My blog is Big Horn Mountain Creations......http://galynn-bhmc.blogspot.com/ . I live in Wyoming, love all things fabric, am a sane quilter and work in crazy quilting as well.
Hi, I'm Linda. I live in Canada. I've been working with fabric for as long as I can remember, first making clothes for myself, then my kids. If it involves working with my hands and fabric in some form, I've done it or do it. I love to play with fabric and experiment. Right now, I love working with art quilts.
Hello Everyone
Thank you, Sharon, for setting this up and inviting me to join. It's 5.00am here in the UK (actually 5.27, I got engrossed in your messages) and I've been awake since just before 4.00. I finally gave up on trying to go back to sleep when the cat announced that she had brought me a gift and started chasing a mouse around the bedroom. I managed to catch it after several frantic minutes and released it into the garden but what I'd like to know is how my partner managed to sleep through all the commotion!
I've been a dabbler in all types of needlework for as long as I can remember. I am learning Japanese Embroidery, currently on Phase IV which concentrates on goldwork and am loving it. I am participating in TIF, to try my hand at creating some of my own designs, but also for the joy of being part of that community.
I see a lot of familiar faces here already and others that are not familiar. I look forward to getting to know you. I've only just signed up to face book so I'm not familiar with this type of networking, bear with me until I get familiar with it.
CA (who's going back to bed and hopes to sleep for a couple of hours)

Hi, I'm Evgenia Lundina from the frosty region of Siberia, Russia. I am a journalist and a part-time crafter interested in quilting, stitching and traditional doll making. I am also a member of a folklore singing group.
Glad to be here:)
What a great place! Thanks for letting me join in. I am Carol Leather from the UK.
I have been interested in needlework of all kinds (well apart from dressmaking!) since a child. My grandmothers stitched, crocheted and just about everything else and I think I inherited the love of textiles from them. It missed my Mum's generation but I have since taught her many stitching techniques.
I come from a counted thread background but have recently discovered crazy quilting and tatting and am in my element.
