Does anyone else collect Vintage iron-on embroidery transfers? And use them? I've been collecting them for years and just had to break my collection into 2 boxes since I couldn't lift them in a single box!

If anyone else collects and use them, I would love to start a group.

Please let me know!

Hi
I'm new to Stitchin Fingers, and I too collect vintage transfers, in fact 99% of the transfers I use are vintage. I particularly like the anthro veggies and Days of the Week designs, but these are hard to come by in the UK, and usually have high postage charges for eBay. I'd love to join a group and share patterns and things I have made from them

I have quite a few vintage transfers, some dating from the 1950/60's and very occasionally I have used them. Susan, the dots ones might be for either quilting or smocking. If the dots are in line they are probably for gathering up material for smocking. Grace
The dots make pictures...like a bird or a tea cup. I have had to trace them to figure out the picture....a true dot to dot without numbers..LOL! Thanks for the reply.

I am new to stitchin fingers but would love to join such a group.
I love vintage embroidery transfers...have a few from my great grandmother and grandmother...LOVE those crinoline ladies most of all! I have been searching for a long time to find one like I used to death when I was a kid...dont know who it was made by, but it was Louis IV style ladies and men, likely from the 20s or 30s...anyone know of this one? Was on a transfer sheet that also have flowers (like most at the time). @nn@
