Another group idea

Would anyone be interested in a group for Redwork embroidery?

I have a quilt block that is to be done in redwork that I have never completed...mainly cause I'm still looking just the right piece of art work...but, I would love to work on something.

Let's see if anyone else responds before I start a group. I teach both crazyquilting and Redwork and Redwork is connected in many ways historically to crazyquilting. It just seemed to me to fit as a group. There are many Redworkers who also do cqing. And, I guess it's on my mind as I am doing a LOT of redwork embroidery right now.

Is 3 a group! LOL.......this afternoon maybe I'll look into how to "make a group". I already have in mind what picture I could use.........

Ok, for what's it worth, I started a sub group for Redworkers. I guess if there isn't enough interest, I can always delete the group.

I very often combine redwork/outline embroidery blocks with crazyquilting - they go together quite naturally.

Of course would love a group for Red Work. I have done lots over the years. One of my first embroidery loves. My grand mother gave me her Red Work quilt that she made when she was thirteen years old. I think that I will get a picture up for all to see.

Hi LouAnne, I'm so glad you started a redwork group. That is one of my favorite kinds of embroidery as red is my favorite color!
