I will have some Rules to the 2012 swap..... It Is EXTREMely disappointing if you send cards to everyone but people do not return to you, especially if your birthday is later in the year and the novelty has worn off....... that said, sometimes life gets in the way of ART and that cannot be helped.

I would like to restrict the numbers to this swap so people are not overwhelmed, If we get lots of interest we can split into two groups.....Please let me know how many cards you would like to make across the whole year....

1. NOV to Dec - Register Your name here before the 1st of December....stating how many postcards you would be keen to make in total for the year......say 12, or 6 or 36

2. Dec- I will contact everyone on the list, and ask them to inbox me their birth day and Month and their Email Address.

3. Before the 1st of January 2012 - I will put up a list of all the participants, the month and date of their birth....I will also email out a list of email addresses so we can exchange postal addresses.

4. you will be expected to send a postcard to each participant in time for their birthday. If something happens and your card will be delayed please contact me and the Birthday Girl/Boy and just let us know you're still working on it.....things happen we all understand that...any card, late or early is a great contact and better than NO card.

5. Once your card has been sent please come here to the group and tell the recipient that it's on its way...Its good to keep track...sometimes things are lost in the mail, and its not that you were forgotten.

6. when you receive a card Tell us all about it....post a photo up here. the sender will love to know its arrived..

7. I will contact participant  to make sure they have received their birthday cards and I will follow up on those who are late delivering...Do not be offended, any contacts I make to see why cards are late will be made privately...I would like to avoid disappointment, so be aware I will crack the whip from time to time......But this does help avoid discussion that gets out of hand here on the site.

This is a very social swap and something quite special. It is about the contacts and the exchange of ideas...

If anyone has any query, idea or rule relating to this swap....please feel free to put them up here or Inbox me

regards Sharon

I'm in! My birthday is the 12th of January.

I nave no upper limit on the number of postcards I could create in a year (well, okay, less than one a day would be nice)-- I'll just start making them now and have them ready in advance. :)

OK ladies it sounds like 12 people would be a good number for our group.... it would be nice if our birthdays are spread across the year evenly, but that never happens.

So far we have Teresa, Linda, Patricia, Helen and Tahlia

cheers Sharon

I would like to be involved and could do 12 per year.  Sounds like great fun!

I can do twelve or more.  Count me in, please

No problems Liz, good to here from you

xx Shazzy
