Hi Ellen, your atc from Saskatchewan, Canada is on it's way.  Hope it won't take too long to reach you! Have a lovely day :)

Ellen, I sent your ATC yesterday. It should get there soon!

Besides Eileen's one, I have also received from Marja and Jeannette.  I decide to open them one by one for a surprise every day.  Here's what I received from Eileen - a very rich coloured piece.   Maybe Eileen can better explained how you do it.  I love the crocheted bracelet, and it fit!  Thank you, Eileen!!

As far as I can remember, it was black velvet with foil added, plus some Angelina.

The beaded bit was an experiment. Beads threaded on silver thread and wrapped round a wire frame.

I machine stitched to hold it together , then cut it from the frame.

The wispy bit is eyelash knitting stuff.

I was thinking about peacocks when I put it together.

I don't throw anything away.

I am glad the bracelet fitted. I guessed that you had small wrists.

I will come back to wish you happy birthday on the official day.

Wow, very nice

Mine is on its way too Ellen

I also sent my LATE one to Annette.....I know I should be setting the example and have them all there on time.....

cheers sharon

Thanks, Eileen, for the details of your card.  I learned something new - the wire frame stuff!  Yes, I have small wrists, I can even buy bracelets from the children's section to fit me :)

I actually uploaded the photo of Eileen's ATC with my last post, in case anyone hasn't noticed it.

I just figured out how to load the photo, rather than the file.  So, here's the 2nd ATC I received - from Marja - a felted landscape and a felt bird ornament.  There is some dried plants, I think, on the ATC, and some interesting textiles, right, Marja?

Wow, Eileen, your ATC for Ellen is gorgeous! I definitely see the peacock inspiration in the colors and texture!

The third ATC that came in is this lovely cross-stitched butterfly, accompanied by a matching card, from Jeannette. Do you know this is my first cross-stitched ATC ever received? They will be treasured!  Thank you, Jeannette!

Ellen, I hope you have a lovely birthday.
Your ATC is in the mail but I think it will be a bit l late.

I arrived home last weekend to find some more ATC's waiting for me but I left the list at home so I can't put in individual thank you'd until next weekend. I will post a photo then as well. My apologies but travel I s keeping me too busy.

Best wishes to everyone, Annette

Hi Ellen,  on the ATC are different kinds of wool, a few little dried plants and some fabric I don't know the English word for;-).

I dye "old"  wool blankets to make the little birds (and other things;-)) from.

Have a very nice birthday!

Marja

You're very welcome Ellen!  Glad you like it and that it arrived in time.  Have a very Happy Birthday :)

The next one that arrived is Kalona's.  Kalona used a few different fabrics, yarns, threads and I think, handmade papers to create this very festive-looking reddish-pink ATC.  Auspicious colours for Chinese!  Thank you, Kalona!

I have also just received from Susan, Linda, Tahlia and Sharon!  Cheers!
